Whiteout Survival Gilded Jade Guide [2026] — Lunar New Year Event Walkthrough

A complete handbook to the Gilded Jade seasonal event — its structure, mechanics, currencies, point synergies, and the strategy patterns that maximize reward yield per Frostjade spent.

1. Overview

Gilded Jade is a limited-time, server-wide seasonal event thematically tied to the Lunar New Year. It is structured as a multi-part hub containing several simultaneous sub-events that share a single event currency: Frostjade.

The event returned in early 2026 following its January 2025 debut. Exact start and end dates for the 2026 iteration were not officially published; in general, scheduling tracks the Lunar New Year window, so timing shifts year to year. Prior iterations have run roughly a week.

There is no documented player-level unlock requirement for the event hub itself, though specific features inside it (such as World Channel Lucky Pouch sharing) carry their own requirements.

2. Quick Reference

For players who want the essentials before reading the full breakdown:

  • Spend Frostjade in Attack of the Nian. Each attack costs 20 and progresses three different point tracks at once.
  • Daily target: 300 New Year Points = 150 attacks = 3,000 Frostjade per day (without Lucky Strikes).
  • Hitting daily targets every day automatically completes Lucky Spring. They are not separate goals; see §4.
  • Keep the event tab open when Auto-Attack is running — it stops the moment you navigate away.
  • Save ~3,000 Frostjade for the final day to claim the last Daily Chest. Anything beyond that converts to a fixed-size mail chest, so excess is wasted.
  • Watch the 100-Wish-Point cliff. Below 100 unused = lost. Above 100 (in 100-point blocks) = Sincere Wish mailed at event end.
  • Burn Jade Quest caps early. Beast slay (7,000 Frostjade) and gather (3,000 Frostjade) caps don't get easier with time.
  • Kasia's Shop priorities depend on your server's progression. Don't follow generic tier lists.

3. Core Mechanics

These are the canonical numbers and rules that govern the event. All later sections reference back to this one rather than restating values.

Mechanic Value
Frostjade cost per attack (Attack of the Nian) 20
New Year Points per attack 2
Treasure Points per Flamehorn Nian defeated 2
Gilded Points per attack 2
Daily New Year Points target 300
Implied daily Frostjade for full daily target (no free strikes) 3,000
Auto-Attack Active only while the event page is open
Lucky Strike Occasional free attacks; trigger rate is not specified in verifiable in-game text
End-of-event Frostjade conversion Unspent Frostjade is converted to 1K Secured Resource Supply Chest(s) via in-game mail

The event hub contains five primary tabs:

  1. Attack of the Nian — main Frostjade sink
  2. Lucky Spring — battle-pass-style reward track
  3. Kasia's Wish House — wish-and-redeem sub-event
  4. King of Spring — stage progression
  5. Symphony of the New Year — mission track

Auxiliary features include Jade Quest (Frostjade-earning side missions) and Lucky Pouch (shareable gem rewards).

4. The Three-Currency Stack

A core insight that most surface-level guides miss: every attack in Attack of the Nian generates three currencies simultaneously — 2 New Year Points, 2 Treasure Points, and 2 Gilded Points — for the same 20 Frostjade.

This means the three reward tracks (Daily Chests, Nian King Prize Pool, Lucky Spring) are not competing budgets. They are byproducts of the same action. Optimizing for one optimizes the others as a side effect.

The practical consequences are large:

  • Lucky Spring is not an additional sink. Full Lucky Spring completion reportedly requires 840 attacks (1,680 Gilded Points). Hitting the 300-NYP daily target every day for 6+ days already exceeds 840 attacks, completing Lucky Spring as a byproduct.
  • Treasure Points need no separate effort. They accumulate at the same rate as the other point types. There is no Frostjade allocation decision between "going for daily chests" versus "going for Nian King" — they are the same activity.
  • The only real Frostjade decision is total volume, not distribution. More attacks = more of all three currencies in lockstep.

[!NOTE] This collapses what looks like a complex three-track optimization into a single question: how many total attacks can you afford this event?

5. Sub-Events

Attack of the Nian

The primary Frostjade sink. Each attack costs 20 Frostjade and, on defeating a Flamehorn Nian, awards 2 New Year Points, 2 Treasure Points, and 2 Gilded Points.

  • Daily Chest Rewards unlock at 300 New Year Points per day.
  • Auto-Attack is available but stops the moment the player navigates away from the event page. For long burn sessions, keep the tab open.
  • Lucky Strike can occasionally make an attack free of Frostjade cost. The exact trigger rate has not been confirmed from verifiable in-game rules, so plan as if every attack will cost the full 20 — any savings is upside.

Nian King

Defeating Flamehorn Nians has a chance to summon the Nian King, a higher-tier encounter. Reported figures from in-game rules text:

  • Chance to draw the Nian King per Flamehorn defeated: approximately 20%.
  • Possible strikes per Nian King appearance: approximately 3–15.
  • Cumulative chance to trigger the Nian King Prize Pool at 10 or more strikes: approximately 0.06%.

Higher Treasure Point totals are reported to increase the Prize Pool rate, but the precise function linking Treasure Points to grand prize probability is not fully specified in verifiable text. Some players report receiving the grand prize at low Treasure Point totals; treat such accounts as anecdotal rather than as a reliable mechanic.

There is no manual lever for Nian King appearance or Prize Pool triggers — total attacks completed is the only player-controlled input.

Lucky Spring

A battle-pass-style track tied to Gilded Points earned from Attack of the Nian.

  • Approximately 21 tiers in total.
  • Full completion reportedly requires 1,680 Gilded Points, equivalent to 840 attacks (≈ 16,800 Frostjade).

Important: Lucky Spring is not an additional Frostjade commitment on top of Daily Chests — it is a byproduct of them. See §4.

Kasia's Wish House

A wish-and-redeem sub-event with its own currencies, separate from the Frostjade economy.

  • Open for 5 days; Kasia's Shop remains open for a 6th day to allow redemption after wishing closes.
  • Wish Vouchers are earned through commissions or purchased; they are spent on wishes.
  • Wish Points accumulate as a byproduct of regular wishes. Every full 100 Wish Points convert to a Sincere Wish (which targets a Mythic corner prize) and is mailed at event end. Wish Points below 100 reset and are lost.
  • Dream Marks drop from wishes at a low rate and are spent in Kasia's Shop.

[!WARNING] The 100-Wish-Point threshold creates a sharp value cliff: leaving 99 unused converts to nothing, while leaving 100 converts to a Sincere Wish. When close to the threshold, hold rather than spend.

Kasia's Shop Server Variation

Shop offerings adjust to server progression:

  • Servers that have not reached Fire Crystal Age will not be offered Fire Crystals.
  • Servers that have not unlocked Legendary Hero Gear will not be offered Mithril.

Prioritize redemptions against what is currently scarce on your server rather than against fixed tier lists. A general framework:

Server State Typical Dream Mark Priority
Pre-Fire Crystal Age Hero shards and high-tier troop resources
Fire Crystal Age, no Legendary Hero Gear Fire Crystals
Legendary Hero Gear unlocked Mithril (if offered), then Fire Crystals

This is a framework, not a fixed ranking — your alliance's gifts, VIP shop, and other event yields all affect what is genuinely scarce for you specifically.

King of Spring

A stage progression sub-event awarding Frostjade through Personal Stage Rewards.

  • Reported maximum total yield around 11,900 Frostjade across the full stage progression.
  • Per-stage values are not fully verified in published material; treat the total as an upper estimate.

This is one of the largest single Frostjade sources, so prioritize clearing it.

Symphony of the New Year

A mission track that awards Frostjade for completing event objectives.

  • Reported total yield: approximately 2,400 Frostjade (free track) or 2,600 Frostjade with a paid pack completing additional missions.

Missions tend to overlap with activity you would do anyway (gathering, training, beast slaying), so check the mission list daily and align your normal play to tick objectives.

6. Frostjade Sources

Frostjade flows in from multiple channels. Estimated yields are reported figures and depend on player activity, server progression, and event iteration.

Source Reported Yield Notes
Jade Quest — beast slaying Up to 7,000 Frostjade Capped; burn early
Jade Quest — resource gathering Up to 3,000 Frostjade Capped; burn early
Jade Quest — gem spending / speedup usage Variable Tracked alongside normal play
King of Spring — Personal Stage Rewards Up to ~11,900 Frostjade Single largest free source
Symphony of the New Year ~2,400 (free) / ~2,600 (with pack) Mission-driven
Attack of the Nian Direct rewards from defeating Nians and Daily Chests Closes the loop
Spring Celebration Pack (paid) Variable Specific contents not verified for 2026

Aggregated reports place total free-to-play Frostjade availability at around 24,300+, but actual yield depends heavily on completion of every available source.

Frostjade Math: The F2P Ceiling

For a typical event running roughly a week, the daily target requires 3,000 Frostjade per day (see §3). Across a 7-day window that's 21,000 Frostjade for daily chests alone. Reported free Frostjade yields are around 24,300+, leaving thin margin for additional spending beyond daily targets.

The implication: F2P players who aim for daily chest completion every day will have little room for extra burn, but will also auto-complete Lucky Spring via §4. Missing days creates compounding deficit because the daily Frostjade inflow doesn't accelerate at end of event.

7. Lucky Pouch

A shareable item granting recipients 500–5,000 Gems on claim.

  • Pouches remain valid for 24 hours after sharing.
  • World Channel sharing requires Furnace Lv. 10 and is not available in Cross-State World Channel.
  • A player can claim up to 10 pouches per day from other players.
  • Bonus pouches reportedly have a 50% chance of successful sharing.

For reliable claims, use alliance and state channels rather than World Channel; for outbound sharing, time pouches when your alliance or state is most active to maximize claims within the 24-hour window.

8. Notable Rewards

Two cosmetics are commonly tied to this event:

  • Dancing Lion City Skin — +2% Troops Attack
  • Panda Fury March Skin — +5% Hunting March Speed

The Dancing Lion skin is generally tied to leaderboard placement; the Panda Fury skin is generally tied to top-up benefits or final reward tiers. Year-to-year availability of specific cosmetics is not guaranteed and may rotate between iterations.

9. Strategy

Day-by-Day Pacing Framework

Exact event length for the 2026 iteration was not officially published; the framework below assumes a ~7–8 day window typical of prior iterations.

Day Priorities
Day 1 Burn Jade Quest beast and gather caps (large early Frostjade injection). Clear King of Spring stages aggressively. Hit daily 300 NYP. Open Wish House commissions.
Days 2–4 Daily 300 NYP every day. Daily Wish House commissions. Continue King of Spring progression. Tick Symphony of the New Year missions during normal play.
Day 5 Final day for Wish House commissions — finish all of them. Daily 300 NYP. Plan Dream Mark spending against Kasia's Shop priorities.
Day 6 Last day for Kasia's Shop — execute Dream Mark spend. Daily 300 NYP. Tally Wish Points; if just under 100, push to cross the threshold.
Final day Spend all banked Frostjade down to ~0. Hit final Daily Chest. Anything left converts to fixed-size mail chest, so excess is wasted.

Frostjade Spending Decision Matrix

Situation Action
Below 300 NYP today, Frostjade available Attack until 300 NYP; claim Daily Chest.
Hit 300 NYP, mid-event Bank Frostjade; do not push beyond daily target unless surplus is large.
Hit 300 NYP, final day Spend everything down to near-zero. Only a final-Daily-Chest reserve has a reason to remain.
Frostjade running low mid-event Prioritize Daily Chests over any other goal. They feed Lucky Spring and Treasure Points simultaneously.
Surplus Frostjade going into Day 5+ Do not hoard. Excess at event end converts to a fixed-size chest regardless of amount.

F2P, Light Spender, and Heavy Spender Paths

The optimal Frostjade strategy diverges based on how much extra Frostjade is available beyond the F2P pool.

  • F2P path. Hit Daily Chests every day, no exceptions. Burn Jade Quest caps Day 1. Clear King of Spring fully. Tick Symphony missions during normal play. Lucky Spring auto-completes. Frostjade ceiling means little room for non-daily spending; accept that Nian King grand prize odds are a function of total attacks, and your total is what it is.
  • Light spender path. A single Symphony-tier paid pack closes the small gap between F2P Frostjade and comfortable Daily Chest completion plus modest surplus. The marginal Frostjade goes into more attacks, which compounds across all three point tracks. Beyond one small pack, marginal Frostjade hits diminishing returns until you reach leaderboard-relevant volume.
  • Heavy spender / leaderboard path. Volume buys leaderboard placement (Dancing Lion skin) and significantly higher Nian King grand prize exposure via Treasure Point accumulation. Top-up benefit tiers (Panda Fury) are a separate spend vector and may or may not align with leaderboard spending. If pursuing both, plan the spend so leaderboard and top-up tier thresholds are crossed efficiently rather than over-shot.

Kasia's Wish House Discipline

  • Complete commissions every day across the 5-day window. Missed days do not refund.
  • Track Wish Points actively. The 100-point Sincere Wish threshold is a hard cliff; below it converts to nothing, above it (in 100-point blocks) mails as a Sincere Wish.
  • When close to a 100-point threshold near event end, hold rather than spend the next Voucher unless that Voucher has independent value to you.
  • Spend Dream Marks in Kasia's Shop on Day 6, not earlier. Holding lets you make a fully informed decision after final Wish drops resolve.

Nian King: Maximize Attack Volume

Total attacks completed is the only player-controlled input to Nian King appearances and Prize Pool triggers. There is no positioning, timing, or sequencing trick that improves grand prize odds — clearing Lucky Spring and daily targets naturally maximizes Treasure Points as a byproduct.

[!TIP] The reported 0.06% Prize Pool figure for 10+ strike encounters is low by any reasonable standard. Treat the Nian King grand prize as an upside event, not a planned reward. Spending Frostjade to chase it specifically (beyond what daily targets already produce) is generally poor expected value.

Lucky Pouch Timing

For outbound sharing, post pouches during peak alliance or state activity windows so claims fill before the 24-hour expiry. For inbound, claim early in the day before others fill the 10-pouch daily cap from your channels.

10. Common Mistakes

  • Letting Wish Points sit at 99 or lower at event end. They reset to zero. The opportunity cost is a Sincere Wish.
  • Hoarding Frostjade past the final day. The end-of-event mail chest is fixed in size regardless of how much Frostjade you carry into it. Spending on the last Daily Chest is always higher value.
  • Switching tabs during Auto-Attack. Auto-Attack stops immediately. Long burn sessions need a parked tab.
  • Treating Lucky Spring as a separate Frostjade goal. It is a byproduct of Daily Chests over a typical event window. Budgeting for both double-counts.
  • Chasing the Nian King grand prize with extra Frostjade. The reported 0.06% rate makes targeted spending poor expected value relative to other Frostjade uses.
  • Skipping Jade Quest caps on Day 1. Beast and gather caps don't increase with time and don't refresh; delaying them just delays Frostjade inflow.
  • Spending Dream Marks early in Kasia's Shop. Day 6 is the last day. Spending earlier locks in choices before you know your final Dream Mark total.
  • Following generic Kasia's Shop tier lists. Server progression gates which items are even offered. Local scarcity, not global rankings, determines value.

11. End-of-Event Conversion

At event close:

  • Unspent Frostjade → converted to 1K Secured Resource Supply Chest(s), delivered by in-game mail.
  • Wish Points at or above 100 (in 100-point blocks) → converted to Sincere Wishes, delivered by mail.
  • Wish Points below 100 → reset and lost.
  • Kasia's Shop → open for one additional day after Wish House closes, allowing late Dream Mark redemption.

Plan final-day spending around these conversion rules: Frostjade has positive end-of-event value, while sub-100 Wish Points do not.
