Whiteout Survival Fire Crystal Furnace Guide [2026] — FC1 to FC10

Last Updated: May 2, 2026

Reached Furnace Level 30? The real grind begins. The Fire Crystal (FC) era introduces new resources, tighter bottlenecks, and massive power spikes. This guide covers everything from your first FC1 push to the FC10 ceiling.

Part of the Late-Game Progression Series:

TL;DR

  • Progression Path: FC-era upgrades run from FC1 through FC10, with four sub-levels between each major tier (e.g., FC1-1 → FC1-4 → FC2).
  • The Ceiling: Your Furnace level caps every other building. You cannot push troop camps or the Embassy past your Furnace's current FC level.
  • Currencies: Upgrades require Fire Crystals (FC). From FC5.1 onward, you also need Refined Fire Crystals (RFC).
  • Server Timeline: The system unlocks in phases: Day 60 (FC1–FC3), Day 150 (FC4–FC5), Day 315 (FC6–FC8 + RFC), and Day 500 (FC9–FC10).
  • Total Cost: Reaching FC10 from Furnace 30 requires 11,610 Fire Crystals and 870 Refined Fire Crystals.

What the Fire Crystal Furnace Is

The Furnace is your headquarters. Once it hits Level 30, you enter the Fire Crystal era. This isn't just a level increase; it's a new progression system.

The Sub-Level System

Each major FC level is gated by four sub-levels that must be completed in sequence.

  • The 30-x Wall: Before hitting FC1, you must clear four sub-levels at Furnace 30 (30-1 → 30-4).
  • Linear Progression: To go from FC1 to FC2, you must complete: FC1 → FC1-1 → FC1-2 → FC1-3 → FC1-4 → FC2.

Non-Negotiable Rules

  1. The Furnace Caps Everything: No building level can exceed the Furnace.
  2. Strictly Linear: You cannot skip sub-levels or parallelize them.
  3. Construction Times: Quoted times are base values. Use Zinman, the Hyena pet, and the Double Time Chief Order to reduce these.

Unlock Requirements

Per-Tier Prerequisites

To upgrade the Furnace, you must first bring the Embassy and a rotating troop camp to the previous FC level.

FC Tier Required Support Buildings
FC 1 Embassy Lv. 30, Research Center Lv. 30
FC 1.1 to FC 2 Embassy FC 1, Lancer Camp FC 1
FC 2.1 to FC 3 Embassy FC 2, Infantry Camp FC 2
FC 3.1 to FC 4 Embassy FC 3, Marksman Camp FC 3
FC 4.1 to FC 5 Embassy FC 4, Lancer Camp FC 4
FC 5.1 to FC 6 Embassy FC 5, Infantry Camp FC 5
FC 6.1 to FC 7 Embassy FC 6, Marksman Camp FC 6
FC 7.1 to FC 8 Embassy FC 7, Lancer Camp FC 7
FC 8.1 to FC 9 Embassy FC 8, Infantry Camp FC 8
FC 9.1 to FC 10 Embassy FC 9, Marksman Camp FC 9

[!TIP] Don't ignore any camp. By FC10, you'll need Lancers at FC7, Infantry at FC8, and Marksmen at FC9. Plan these upgrades in parallel or you'll hit a hard bottleneck.

Server Timeline Gates

Even if you have the resources, the server determines the maximum reachable tier.

Server Age What Unlocks
Day 60 Fire Crystal Age opens (FC1–FC3 accessible)
Day 150 FC4–FC5 unlock; Crystal Laboratory opens
Day 315 FC6–FC8 unlock; Refined Fire Crystals (RFC) introduced
Day 500 FC9–FC10 unlock

The Two Currencies

1. Fire Crystals (FC)

The primary resource. You'll need 11,610 of these for the Furnace alone.

  • Daily Intel: ~10 FC/day (pre-Day 315), ~20 FC/day (post-Day 315).
  • Alliance Events: Alliance Mobilization is a key source.
  • Crystal Reactivation: The single most important event for FC/RFC.

2. Refined Fire Crystals (RFC)

Required from FC5.1 onward. RFC demand scales aggressively:

  • FC5 Tier: 60 RFC total.
  • FC10 Tier: 420 RFC total.

The Crystal Laboratory

This is your primary source of RFC. It opens on Day 150.

  • Daily Refinement: Spend raw FC to produce RFC.
  • Daily Cap: The Lab has a daily limit that increases with its level (e.g., 7 refines/day at Lv. 6).
  • Rule of Thumb: Start refining early. Missed days are lost capacity that you cannot buy back later.

FC1–FC10 Full Cost Table (Furnace Only)

Values are base costs/times. Resource columns: Wood / Meat / Coal / Iron / FC / RFC.

FC 10 160M 160M 33M 8.4M 175 140 20d 4,754,500

Efficiency Analysis: Power per Fire Crystal

  • Best Value: FC 5 → FC 6 (376 power/FC). This is because the FC cost drops significantly at the "round" tier, though it adds an RFC requirement.
  • Worst Value: FC 4 → FC 5 (189 power/FC). This tier is the hardest "raw" FC grind before RFC mechanics take over.

Crystal Reactivation Event

This is the most critical event for late-game progression.

  • Mechanism: Complete missions to earn Fire Crystal Embers. Spend Embers on chests.
  • Strategy: Embers persist between events. If your server is 10 days away from a higher FC bracket (e.g., moving from Day 305 to Day 315), save your Embers. Chest rewards scale significantly at server milestones.

Common Pitfalls

  1. Troop Camp Lag: If you only level your favorite camp, you'll be blocked at the next Furnace sub-level. Keep all three camps within one FC tier of your Furnace.
  2. Ignoring the Crystal Lab: RFC is the final gate. If you don't refine daily starting Day 150, you will be stuck at FC5.1 for months.
  3. Burning Embers Early: Spending all your Embers on Day 314 instead of Day 315 can cost you hundreds of Refined Fire Crystals.
  4. Resource Floor: The Furnace is the headline, but the Embassy and Troop Camps cost nearly as much combined. Don't spend your last Wood/Meat on the Furnace without checking the Embassy's price tag.
