Whiteout Survival codes are time-limited promotional codes that unlock free in-game rewards: Gems, Speedups, Hero XP, manuals, keys, and resources. Codes drop around major events, holidays, hero releases, and community milestones. Most expire within one to four weeks of release, so check this page regularly and redeem promptly.

Active Whiteout Survival Codes

The codes below are verified active at the time of this update. The Value Tier column reflects what's actually inside — see Reward Value Tiers below for the full framework. If a code fails for you, see Troubleshooting.

Code Rewards Value Tier Notes
WOSFAMILY26 1,000 Gems, 8× 1h Training Speedup, 2× 100 VIP XP, 10× 5m General Speedup, 50× 1,000 Meat, 50× 1,000 Wood, 10× 1,000 Coal, 5× 1,000 Iron Medium Expires May 20, 23:59 UTC
OFFICIALSTORE 1,000 Gems, 2× Mythic Expedition Manuals, 2× Mythic Exploration Manuals, 50,000 Hero XP, 3× 1h Training Speedup High Requires Furnace Lv. 9; long-running
gogoWOS 5× 100 Gems, 10,000 Hero XP, 2× Gold Keys, 20× 5m General Speedup Low Long-running

[!NOTE] Case-sensitive. Codes must be entered exactly as shown, including capitalisation. Copy and paste whenever possible to avoid typos.

Reward Value Tiers

Codes are not interchangeable currency. The rewards inside them have wildly different real-game value depending on your Furnace level and current priorities. Most code pages skip this part.

Tier Reward Types Why It Matters
High Mythic Expedition Manuals, Mythic Exploration Manuals, Platinum Keys, large Gem bundles (1,000+) Bottleneck items. Slow or impossible to farm at speed. Directly accelerate hero ceiling or recruitment quality.
Medium Gold Keys, 1h+ Training/General Speedups, VIP XP, medium Gem bundles (200–999), large Hero XP bundles (25,000+) Useful and welcome, but farmable through normal play. Reduces grind rather than unlocking new ceilings.
Low 5-minute speedups, small resource bundles (meat/wood/coal/iron), small Hero XP (under 10,000) Largely irrelevant past early Furnace tiers. Nice-to-have, often makeweight.

Reading a Code at a Glance

When a new code drops, scan the reward list for High-tier items first. The difference between a "good code" and a filler code is almost entirely whether it contains Mythic Manuals, Platinum Keys, or a meaningful Gem bundle. Speedup-heavy codes are useful but rarely transformative.

Worked example using WOSFAMILY26: the 1,000 Gems is the anchor reward; everything else (1h speedups, small resource bundles, VIP XP) is supporting. A mid-game FC account values the Gems and treats the resources as overflow. A Furnace 6–8 account values the resources nearly as much as the Gems because warehouse output is still a meaningful constraint. OFFICIALSTORE, by contrast, is dragged up to High tier by the four Mythic Manuals — Gems are almost the bonus.

How to Redeem Codes

There are two ways to redeem codes. The web portal works on every device; the in-game route is Android-only.

Method 1: Web Portal (iOS and Android)

  1. Open Whiteout Survival and tap your avatar in the top-left corner.
  2. Copy your Player ID — the number shown under your username.
  3. In a browser, go to the official Gift Code Center: wos-giftcode.centurygame.com
  4. Enter your Player ID and log in.
  5. Type or paste the code into the input field.
  6. Complete the verification step and click Confirm.
  7. Return to the game and claim your rewards from your in-game mail.

Method 2: In-Game (Android Only)

  1. Tap your avatar in the top-left corner.
  2. Tap the Settings cog in the bottom-left.
  3. Tap the Gift Code button.
  4. Enter the code and tap Redeem.

[!WARNING] iOS players cannot redeem codes in-game. Apple platform restrictions require iOS users to use the web portal in Method 1. This is the most common reason iOS players think codes are broken.

Strategic Redemption: When to Redeem vs. When to Wait

Code rewards arrive in your in-game mail and can be held there for up to 7 days before the mail expires. Once claimed from mail, most reward items sit in your inventory indefinitely. This gives you a small window of timing flexibility worth using.

Redeem the Code Immediately If:

  • The code itself is approaching expiry (the time pressure is on redemption, not on use).
  • The reward is Gems, Manuals, or Keys — these bank cleanly and lose nothing by being claimed early.
  • You're near a Furnace requirement threshold and want to verify access before the code expires.

Claim from Mail Promptly, But Use Strategically:

  • Speedups are most efficient when applied to long timers (research, large construction). If a code drops 8× 1h Training Speedups and your barracks are idle, the speedups sit fine in your inventory — but never let the mail expire on you.
  • Training Speedups specifically are wasted if your troop tier is maxed and you have no queued promotions. Hold until the next training push.
  • Hero XP doesn't compound — there's no advantage to banking it once a hero is below the level cap.

[!NOTE] Mail expiry vs. code expiry. These are two different clocks. The code expires on the date in the table above (after which you can no longer redeem it). The mail containing rewards expires roughly 7 days after redemption. Redeem now even if you plan to use the rewards later.

Recently Expired Codes

Below are recent codes that are no longer redeemable, listed so you don't waste time trying them. If you receive an "Expired, unable to claim" error in the Gift Code Center, the code has moved to this list.

Code Drop Patterns

There's no published schedule, but the rough cadence over a calendar year is:

  • 2–4 codes per month on average, weighted heavily toward event-dense weeks.
  • Holiday windows (Lunar New Year in late January–February, the anniversary window in late February–early March, Easter, Halloween, December holidays) produce the densest clusters — sometimes multiple codes inside a single week.
  • Hero release events typically come with one celebration code, sometimes containing shards for the new hero plus universal rewards.
  • Community milestones (server count thresholds, anniversary stat dumps) generate the most generous codes of the year. These are the ones worth actively watching for.

Where Codes Are Announced

  • The official Discord server typically receives codes first.
  • The Whiteout Survival Facebook page and Twitter/X account post alongside Discord drops.
  • In-game mail announcements push codes directly to players for some campaigns.

F2P vs. Spender Perspective

Codes are the most accessible source of free progression in the game, but their relative weight differs significantly by account profile.

For F2P Players

Codes contribute meaningfully to:

  • Long-cycle Gem accumulation. Cumulative Gem income from codes over several months adds up — useful when banking toward an anniversary recruitment push or a major event shop.
  • Mythic Manual income. Mythic Manuals are among the slowest-to-farm items in the game outside of long-cycle events. Codes are one of the few F2P sources that bypass that grind.

Realistic expectation: codes won't change the shape of your progression curve, but over 6–12 months they meaningfully shorten time-to-next-milestone — especially on the hero side.

For Light and Committed Spenders

Codes are a tail-end income source and rarely matter for overall pacing. Two exceptions:

  • Mythic Manuals from codes still matter at high spend levels because manual acquisition is rate-limited rather than gem-limited. A code's four Mythic Manuals shave a real amount of time off your hero ceiling regardless of spend.
  • Anniversary and milestone codes occasionally contain progression items that aren't available in standard packs.

Practical rule: redeem everything that drops, but don't optimise your weekly rhythm around codes.

Troubleshooting

If a code returns an error, check these in order:

  1. Typo or wrong case. Codes are case-sensitive. Copy and paste rather than retype. Watch for lowercase "l" versus uppercase "I" and zero versus capital "O".
  2. Already redeemed. Each code is one-use per account. If you've previously redeemed it, the portal returns a generic error rather than telling you so explicitly.
  3. Expired. Most codes last one to four weeks. Check the Recently Expired list.
  4. Furnace level requirement. Some codes require a minimum Furnace level (typically Lv. 9). New accounts usually pass this within the first week of play.
  5. Wrong Player ID. Double-check the ID under your in-game username. A single wrong digit returns a generic error rather than an ID-not-found message.
  6. Region restriction. A small minority of codes target specific regions (Asia, Europe, Americas). Region restrictions are sometimes — but not always — noted at release.
  7. Rewards not appearing. Check your in-game mail. Rewards arrive there, not directly to your inventory.

Known Caveats

Worth flagging because they aren't covered by standard troubleshooting:

  • Publisher-controlled expiry. Stated expiry dates are not contractual. Codes can be extended past their published date or deactivated early without notice. The expiry dates in the active codes table reflect publisher-stated values at time of update.
  • Undocumented region targeting. A small number of codes are silently restricted to specific server clusters or regions, with no advance announcement. If a code that's verified active elsewhere fails on your account and isn't expired or already redeemed, region restriction is the likely cause.
  • Mid-run reward adjustments. Rare but documented: the publisher has occasionally adjusted the reward contents of a long-running code between its release and expiry. The values in this table reflect the current verified contents, not necessarily the original announcement.

Other Ways to Get Free Rewards

Codes are useful but inconsistent. For reliable F2P income:

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do new Whiteout Survival codes drop? There's no fixed schedule. Codes cluster around major events, holidays, hero releases, and community milestones. Expect roughly two to four new codes per month on average, with denser activity during anniversary and seasonal windows.

Can I use a code more than once? No. Each code is single-use per account. Sharing a code with alliance members is fine — they redeem on their own account.

Are codes region-locked? The majority are global. A small minority target specific regions (typically Asia, Europe, or Americas). Region restrictions are usually noted when codes are first published, but not always.

Do codes expire? Yes — most within one to four weeks. A small number of evergreen codes (OFFICIALSTORE and gogoWOS, for example) have remained valid for many months. Codes can be deactivated by the developer at any time.

Why doesn't my code work on iOS in-game? iOS doesn't offer in-app gift code redemption. Use the web portal in Method 1 above. This isn't a bug — it's an Apple platform restriction.

Should I bank speedups from codes for a specific event? Generally yes. Large building or research projects benefit from a stockpile, and codes are a reliable way to maintain one. The only exception: if a code's speedups are about to expire from your mailbox, claim them and let them sit in your inventory — speedups in inventory have no time pressure.

What's the difference between Gold Keys and Platinum Keys? Both are hero recruitment items. Gold Keys are the basic recruitment currency; Platinum Keys are rarer and yield better hero shard outcomes. Codes that include keys usually specify the type.

Which active code is the most valuable right now? OFFICIALSTORE by a clear margin. The four Mythic Manuals (two Expedition, two Exploration) make it the only High-tier code currently active and the one most worth prioritising if you've delayed redemption.
