Generation 7 is one of the most important generations for F2P players because its Lucky Wheel hero — Bradley — becomes the premier Expedition Marksman and the long-term replacement for Gen 5 Gwen. This guide covers the three Gen 7 heroes, the lineups they enable, and where to invest.

Core Mechanics

Server unlock: Gen 7 heroes become available once a server reaches roughly 440 days of age (about 80 days after Gen 6).

The Three Gen 7 Heroes

Bradley — Marksman

Bradley is the headline hero of Gen 7: a stationary, cannon-style Marksman who becomes the top Expedition Marksman for most rosters and takes over the primary rally-damage role from Gen 5 Gwen. Lucky Wheel access makes him reachable for F2P.

Verdict: Build first, no exceptions. He's the F2P backbone Marksman from Gen 7 well into the late game.

Edith — Infantry

Edith is a defensively-oriented Infantry whose value lives in Expedition: she's one of a small handful of heroes whose troop buffs help every troop type at once, making her a flexible garrison and rally piece regardless of march composition. Her Arena kit (built around her companion "Mr. Tin") is more niche and tends to underperform her Expedition side.

Verdict: Excellent universal Expedition support — strong for mixed garrisons and defense. Acquired through events, so slower to build than Bradley.

Gordon — Lancer

Gordon is the Gen 7 Lancer, a debuff specialist who throws chemical flasks for poison/damage-over-time and a Lancer burst aimed at rallies. He's the Hall of Heroes hero of the generation.

Verdict: Situational. Build if you want a debuff-oriented Lancer for rallies; otherwise hold over Renee (Gen 6) in the Lancer slot.

Investment Priority

Bradley — Lucky Wheel, premier Marksman, F2P backbone. Build and weapon-invest first.
Edith — best universal Expedition/garrison support; build for defensive players.
